Want to spend one day looking behind the scenes at the United Nations in Vienna? The
Shadowing Programme taking place from 24 October to 24 November 2017, will offer students
the opportunity to accompany employees of the United Nations and Vienna-based organizations
for one entire working day and to gain exciting insights into the world of the Vienna International
Staff members from international organizations based in Vienna (https://www.unvienna.org) are
joining the Shadowing Programme 2017.
How to participate
If you are a student who is enrolled in a Masters or a PhD programme at a Slovak university you
are invited to apply by sending an email to the United Nations Association Slovakia (email
firstname.lastname@example.org) with the following information:
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Field of study
- Field of interest
- If selected, what would you expect to get out of the Shadowing Programme? (max. 50
PLEASE NOTE: The number of applications that can be accepted is limited, so you are encouraged to apply as early as possible. The deadline is 10 August 2017. However, once the limit is reached applications will no longer be accepted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
How to know if you are selected to participate
The selection of students who can participate in the Shadowing Programme will be made after all
registrations have been collected. The successful candidates will be contacted per email.
The Shadowing Programme takes place to help mark United Nations Day (24 October). It is
coordinated by UNIS Vienna and organized in cooperation with all participating Vienna-based
